ISLAM : The Life of Excellence

AssalamuAlaikum Brothers and Sisters As we know Islam is the fastest-growing major religion in the world. It is the world's second-largest religion with over 1.8 billion followers (or 24.1% of the world's population). Muslims make up a majority of the population in 50 countries which are located in the Old Arab. With the increase in curiosity about the religion, confusion is increasing too even about the basic terminology, so in this article let's begin with the understanding of  the terms “Islam,” “Imaan,” “Muslim,” and “Arab” ISLAM It derived from the Arabic root word “ salam ” which means peace. It means surrender or submission to the will of God. Islam means worshipping Allah by performing rituals that He orders as the rituals that are conveyed (taught) by His messenger Prophet Mohammad SAW. Islam is the name of a religion , like Christianity, Judaism, and Hinduism etc. In addition to this Islamic is an adjective that modifies a non-human noun, for

Islam means to believe in the oneness of Allah to believe on kalma Tayyaba Laaa Ilaaha Illa-llaahu Muhammadur-Rasoolu-llaah There is none worthy of worship except Allah and Muhammad is the Messenger of Allah The word Islam means voluntary “ Submission ” or “ Surrender ” to the Will of God (ALLAH). It derives from the root word “salam,” meaning peace. In the Quran, God defines that the only purpose for which He created mankind is to Worship Him. Islam recognizes that humankind has free choice in whether to obey or disobey God, but ultimately we will be held accountable to God in the next life for the choices that we make in this life. There are Five Pillars of Islam 1. The testimony of faith (shahada) : “la ilaha illa allah. Muhammad rasul Allah.” This means, “There is no deity but Allah. Muhammad is the messenger of Allah.” The shahada shows that a Muslim believes in Allah alone as the deity and believes that Muhammad SAW is His messenger. 2. Prayer (salat) : Five ritua
